Do I need to worry about the GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) only affects you if your business is based in the European Union (EU) or you process the personal data of EU citizens. 

There are, of course, other reasons to understand the GDPR. The largest near-term effect will be on ad tech companies.
